Voyage Classroom Visit

A 6th grade class from Lincoln Middle School in the District of Columbia visits Saturn as they tour the Voyage Scale Model Solar System on the National Mall in Washington, DC.  The Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum is in the foreground.  The U.S. Capitol is seen in the distance.

Voyage is a program of the National Center for Earth and Space Science Education. The Center is making replicas of the exhibition available for permanent installation in communities world-wide, and trains over 3,000 teachers a year on Voyage grade K-12 lessons on Solar System science and exploration through its programs such as Journey through the Universe, and its corps of NASA MESSENGER Educator Fellows.
