Figure 3: Adults and students attending a family night in Kansas City, March 2004 were asked if the program changed what they thought about ‘science and scientists’. 40% of adults indicated no change, with comments overwhelmingly stating they always had a favorable impression. Yet 55% of adults felt that because of the program they now had a more favorable view of science and scientists. In students the program impact was even more pronounced.
