An Educator Workshop for 175 teachers as part of Journey through the Universe in Labette County, Kansas, April/May 2002.  The program engaged 17 schools across 5 rural school districts, targeting grades K-8.  1,800 attended the family science program at the high school. 

Dr. Mary Radnofsky and Dr. Timothy Livengood, from the Challenger Center for Space Science Education (which at the time oversaw the Journey program) were the Visiting Educator and Visiting Researcher that co-led the Educator Workshop.   In the photo the teachers are laying out a Voyage scale model Solar System.
