Dr. Robert Davis, then Vice President for Education at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, talks to a class about his research in conservation of endangered species.  Dr. Bert was one of 5 researchers that traveled to Hilo, Hawai'i in January 2005 to talk to 5,500 students in 17 schools through 105 presentations.  2,500 parents, students and teachers attended the family programs.  By 2006, the program was reaching 8,600 students.
